BM83 Bluetooth Microphone & Speaker PCB / PCBA Kit
A two-board kit based on CreatorKanata’s open-source bowtie microphone and button speaker project, originally published as conan-style-voice-changer-mic-speaker. Supplied by DIYIPCB for wireless audio and wearable electronics development.
Main module and functions
BM83 Bluetooth audio module: used on both boards. The upstream microphone configuration uses HFP for audio capture, while the speaker configuration uses A2DP for playback. The microphone design includes a MEMS microphone; both designs provide battery-charging circuitry.
Typical uses
- Wearable Bluetooth microphone and compact wireless speaker experiments.
- Raspberry Pi audio-processing and voice-effect prototypes.
- Interactive props, maker demonstrations and wireless-audio learning projects.
Voice changing takes place on an external Raspberry Pi 5 running appropriate software. These two boards are audio peripherals, not a standalone voice changer. Firmware/profile configuration, Bluetooth setup and host software are required. Translation is described as planned in the upstream project and is not a supplied function.
