Glasgow revC3 Interface Explorer PCB
A four-layer bare main-board PCB based on the Glasgow revC3 open hardware design. Intended for engineers, embedded developers and electronics enthusiasts building a configurable FPGA-based interface tool.
Price and package contents
US$4.00 per board; listed shipping weight 50 g. Includes one unpopulated revC3 main PCB only. No FPGA, USB controller, other components, connectors, enclosure, cables or probes are included. PCB production lead time: 2-3 days.
Design functions and applications
- 16 configurable I/O pins grouped into two ports, with 1.8 V to 5 V I/O standards.
- Independent pin direction control and programmable pull-up/pull-down resistors.
- USB 2 connectivity for power, configuration and communication.
- UART, SPI, I2C and JTAG interface work using the appropriate Glasgow software applets.
- Memory access, supported-device programming and embedded electronics debugging.
These functions describe the assembled upstream design with compatible firmware, gateware and host software. The bare PCB alone does not provide these functions. Actual PCBA test coverage is specified in the assembly quotation.
Main chips in the revC3 design
- iCE40HX8K-BG121: FPGA for configurable interface logic.
- CY7C68013A: high-speed USB controller.
- SN74LVC1T45: I/O voltage-level translation.
- DAC081C081 and TPS73101: programmable I/O supply circuitry.
Assembled PCBA enquiries
Contact Us for PCBA or email service@diyipcb.com. Please provide quantity and required assembly scope. Component availability, connectors, factory initialization, functional tests, weight, price and lead time are confirmed in the quotation. PCBA is not included in the $4.00 bare-board purchase.
Images and manufacturing identity
The front and back images are upstream assembled-design renders for reference, not photographs of the bare PCB supplied. Production boards will identify DIYIPCB as the manufacturer in place of the upstream manufacturer placeholders. Original designer attribution is retained. This is independently manufactured hardware; it is not an official 1BitSquared product and no endorsement by the Glasgow project is implied.
