Confirm the intended PCB data source, all copper layers, board profile and any milling layers, BOM manufacturer/MPN fields, and assembly variant. Check DNP exclusions and placement conventions. In a CAM viewer check the complete outline and dimensions, all copper layers, solder mask and drill alignment. Reconcile BOM and placement designators, DNP exclusions, sides, rotations and polarity. Successful generation alone does not establish production readiness.

9. Upload to DIYIPCB

Open the DIYIPCB PCB/PCBA ordering page. Upload the fabrication ZIP in the Gerber field and review the preview, dimensions and copper-layer count. Select quantity, material, thickness, copper weight, finish and solder-mask color to match your released design.

For assembly select The PCBs above need assembly. Attach the production BOM under Parts List (BOM) Upload and the pick-and-place CSV under Centroid File Upload. Use Other Assembly Files for drawings, polarity notes, DNP instructions and approved substitutions. Specify assembly quantity, populated sides, component sourcing and any through-hole or hand-soldering work. Review the scope before submitting the inquiry. Bare-PCB orders do not need BOM or placement files.

DIYIPCB supports component sourcing, SMT, through-hole and hand soldering, with worldwide shipping. Assembly is quoted after review of the files and scope.

Reuse the OutJob and troubleshooting

For later revisions of the same project, save the updated design and use Generate content again. For another project, copy the OutJob into its folder and use Add Existing to Project. Recheck Data Source, target PCB, copper-layer selections, profile and milling layers, BOM parameter names, variant and output path before generating. Projects with several PCB documents need an explicit target.

The supplied FEMTO OutJob uses a relative output path and generic PCB/Project sources, but its settings retain FEMTO document-path and layer records. Treat it as a four-layer example configuration; cross-project compatibility has not been tested. It is not an automatic upload plugin.

Missing outputs? Check that each output is enabled for Folder Structure and inspect generation messages. Missing BOM parts? Check source data, variant and not-fitted settings. Misaligned drills? Verify units, coordinate origin and drill format, then regenerate a consistent release.

Also see the KiCad production-file export guide.

Ready to manufacture your Altium board?
Start your PCB or PCBA quotation on DIYIPCB

References: Altium Output Job documentation · Altium manufacturing-output tutorial.
